What is KnovaSolutions?
KnovaSolutions is a third-party vendor health information service offered at no cost to all active PG&E employees, as well as their family members enrolled in the Anthem or Kaiser HAP. KnovaSolutions is a confidential and personalized service that provides support via telephone or email. Your KnovaSolutions team includes a nurse, pharmacist, medical research librarian, and Certified Diabetic Care and Education Specialist who provide consultation and services around your personal health and well-being with the goal of supporting you in making the most informed health care decisions.
Is this program confidential?
KnovaSolutions services are secure and completely confidential. Your personal health information will never be shared with PG&E and any personal health information you provide to your KnovaSolutions team is protected by HIPAA privacy standards.
Who at KnovaSolutions will be providing the services?
KnovaSolutions services are provided for you by a team of health care professionals, including a nurse, pharmacist, medical research librarian, and Certified Diabetic Care Specialist. You will be contacted at home or at work for a brief consultation. You can also contact your KnovaSolutions team to make an appointment Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST—by phone at 1-800-355-0885 or email at contactknovasolutions@workpartners.com.

Participation in KnovaSolutions is voluntary and you may choose to decline this service. PG&E hopes that employees and their family members enrolled in the Anthem or Kaiser HAP who qualify will take advantage of this worthwhile benefit provided at no cost to you.
Who might benefit from KnovaSolutions?
Employees and family members enrolled in the Anthem or Kaiser HAP who are facing many health care decisions may benefit from talking with the KnovaSolutions team. The team will consult and answer your questions about health care and treatment options, medical care decisions, medications and work-life balance.
Your KnovaSolutions team will educate you about the risks and benefits associated with multiple providers, diagnostic tests, procedures and medications in order to help you better communicate with your medical providers to make informed health care decisions. These services are intended to enhance—not replace—the patient-doctor relationship.
How are you different from disease, case, or care management?
KnovaSolutions collaborates with other medical care providers including primary care doctors and medical specialists. Rather than focusing on just one disease or health behavior, KnovaSolutions addresses the health needs of the whole person. KnovaSolutions is an independent service and does not operate as an agent of insurance carriers or managed care organizations.
